Our Terms of Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual, group of individual and / or legal entity at our descretion.

Privacy Policy

We respect your right to privacy and are committed to protecting it. We therefor do not aggregate personally identifiable information, except for statistical purposes and for our own internal customer management systems.

Hosting Terms of Use

Commencement, Term and Termination

30 days prior written notice.

Charges

levied on a bi-annual or an annual basis.

Refund Policy

We reserve the right to refuse refunds.

Discontinuance of services, Monitoring, Notification

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue all or part of our services, at our sole discretion if you engage in any conduct or activity that we believes violates any of the terms and conditions in our of our ISP's terms and agreements.
We reserve the right to block internet connectivity to site's, that accounts are in excess of 60 day's late on payment.

No Warranties

Without limitation to the generality of the above clause, we do not warrant that the Services available to you:

will be preserved or sustained in their entirety;
will be suitable for any purposes;
will be free of errors, defects, bugs or viruses of any kind;

Liability

We assumes no liability, responsibility or obligation with regard to any of the exclusions as set out in this clause.

Our Terms of Quotation

By Acceptance of the Quotation and Invoicing Terms you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Subject to change and alteration from time to time at the sole discretion of Dot Media.

Deposit.

You agree to deposit 50% of the quotation value into the account specified on the Quotation form prior to commencement of the contract.

Validity.

All quotations are valid for 14 days from the date of issue.

Termination.

Should you decide to cancel the quotation prior to commencement of work, the 50% deposit will be retained to cover expenses incurred and no refunds will be made. Should you decide to Cancel after the work has been completed you will be liable for the remainder of the quotation amount on completion.

Payment Terms.

Payment is strictly COD (cash on Delivery) on completion and approval of the work. No credit terms are available unless prior written permission has been granted by Dot Media prior to commencement of the work.

Ownership

All work will remain the property of Dot Media until full and final payment has been received. Open Source Development ownership and licencing subject to the GPL, BSD/APACHE, LGPL or alternatives where applicable.

Late or non-payment.

Dot Media reserves the right to charge interest on late payments at the prime interest rate of South Africa + 5% compounded on a daily basis.

Timely Delay.

Should the Client for any reason delay the supply of information necessary for completion of the work, as accepted in the quotation, for a period exceeding 60 days, the client will be invoiced in full for work completed to that date.
